VASCO broadens its range of dynamic authentication devices with the Digipass For Java Phone; allowing users to safely connect to remote networks, e-commerce, and e-banking applications directly using their cellular phone as a token. The Digipass For Java Phone integrates perfectly with any existing VASCO product, without the need for any changes to your existingarchitecture.
Digipass For Java Phone – Standard Package
This is an out of the box solution that provides authentication application (Response Only) for java-enabled cellular phones. It is extremely easy to deploy maintain and activate,the TCO remains one of the lowest in the market. This version will be particularly useful to small and medium deployments.
Brief specifications:
- 20-digit activation code
- One (1) authentication application
o Event-based
o 6 digit response length
o Triple DES
- PIN protected (6 digits)
- PIN change option
- Re-activation option in case of lost or forgotten PIN
- Option to display event counter value to re-synchronize with server
Digipass For Java Phone – Customization Package
Extend the capabilities to challenge/response and signature mode and allow integrators to fully adapt messages and layout to their specifi c needs.
Most parameters can be changed, such as PIN security level, crypto algorithm, operating mode, etc.The activation process can be standard security (64 bit) or high security (128 bit)
This version will be particularly useful to medium and large deployments.
Brief specifications:
- 20 digit Activation Code or 20 + 20 digits if High Security Activation is selected
- Up to two (2) Authentication Applications
o Response only / event-based / 6 digit response length / Triple DES
o Challenge-response / non event based / 6 digit response length / Triple DES
- One signature application
- PIN protected (6 digits)
- PIN change option
- PIN security level and client-side check can be selected between three (3) options:
o No client-side PIN check
o Client-side checksum
o Client–side hash code check
- Re-activation option in case of lost or forgotten PIN
- Option to display event counter value to re-synchronize with server
